The Astra Electric also boasts 100 kW DC rapid charging capabilities, which can take the battery from 10-80% full in just 30 minutes.

Entry level models get 18 inch alloys, a 10 inch infotainment touchscreen with sat nav and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated steering wheel, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360 degree panoramic parking camera.
There are driver assistance and safety aids galore, too, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
And because the Vauxhall Astra Electric has zero emissions at the tailpipe, it’s a great car for business lease company car customers, as it attracts a low Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax rate of just 2% until the 2024/25 financial year.
