The ‘Fisker Magic Works’ division is located in Oxfordshire and focuses on special editions and ‘high performance’ projects.
A Fisker Experience Centre - a place where advisors are on hand to educate lease customers about the Fisker brand and its vehicles - has also launched in London.
And the car that’s driving Fisker’s move into Europe is the Ocean - a fully electric SUV that competes with the likes of the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Volkswagen ID.4.
It’s not the first Fisker we’ve seen in Blighty - that honour went to the hybrid, super-exclusive Fisker Karma saloon that was available in left-hand drive only and in very limited numbers.
But the Ocean is Fisker’s first truly mass-market vehicle for lease customers, and there’s plenty to be excited about.
The range topping Fisker Ocean Extreme models boast power of 558 PS and a range of up to 440 miles between charges. That range figure puts the Ocean Extreme right to the top of the electric class, rivalling the 453-mile Mercedes-Benz EQS saloon.
The UK’s Fisker Magic Works division has also designed the off-road focused Fisker Ocean Force E, which Fisker says is a rugged, all-terrain package that can be retrofitted to the regular Ocean SUV.
